Established in 1998, Cirquel Design & Development LLC specializes in graphic design and programming services. In April 2009, Social Media Works was launched as a new division to better serve this emerging market.
Linda C. Schenk is the Founder & CEO of both companies. She can work solo on projects or assemble a team of capable specialists for each project based upon the client’s needs. A team member might assist with one small part or be a key resource throughout the entire process. Linda will be the point of contact for all of these services. Our service model was created with this idea in mind: to be able to bring together the top talent in a flexible business model.

Linda believes that successful web development combines three elements: aesthetics, usability, and ease of programming.
If she creates a design that is difficult to navigate or extremely costly to program, she has not done her job. From years of hands-on experience with web production, Linda understands, when she designs, what coding challenges will follow.
This combined design/production perspective enables the development team to do their job better and faster. Understanding all phases of development allows her to make choices up-front that will mean less work (and less cost) later in the process.
Linda has completed projects for companies of all sizes in a variety of industries. She spent three years in Silicon Valley working with various high-tech companies. Being at the center of the Internet boom has given her a unique knowledge of what makes a successful website. She has also worked with major hospitals, universities, banks, and a major Washington lobbying group. Her freelance projects range from small businesses and non-profits to large media companies.

Linda has the ability to explain tech talk to non-techies, as well as to talk tech with software engineers. She is able to suggest creative solutions for sales challenges and marketing needs.
