Are you Considering a Redesign or Creating a New Website?

If you are using the business practices that worked a year ago, ignoring Social Media, you are throwing your money away.

Just Say No!

Just Say No!

Yes, that is a strong statement.  But we firmly believe (along with numerous other sources) that businesses today MUST be using Social Media or else incur a serious impact to their bottom line when trying to play catch up in the near future.

A huge shift has occurred with how people communicate.  A few of the ways include:

Social Consciousness

President Obama successfully used Social Media to reach millions of voters. Health care and other political and debates are raging online.

Consumer Opinion & Spending Habits

Hollywood is seeing profits drop as movies open then get poor reviews not from critics, but people on Facebook and Twitter.

Breaking News Stories

Mainstream news organizations starting to turn to Twitter as a way to break news, even before an article is up on their site.

Social Browsing

Web users are no longer surfing sites anonymously; they are surfing as part of communities. Approval and disapproval of products, services, ideas and more are instantly broadcast back to others. Experts forecast technical advances such as OpenID and Facebook Connect to increase the social functionality of the web.

Can your organization afford NOT to consider Social Media as part of your plan?

Businesses of all sizes, organizations, government agencies, political groups, non-profits, individuals… they all must be aware of this change or else be left out in the cold. The economy is already tough, so evaluate if you can afford the cost of playing catch up a year. NOW is the time to plan to ride the wave and be strategic in your use of Social Media.

Develop Your Website as a “Hub”, broadcasting back and forth to your target audiences using Social Media.

The goal is to turn your visitors into a community

We advocate using Social Media to reach out, build relationships, and then drive your audience back to your “central hub” to take appropriate action.  The idea of a “brochure-style website” is very outdated.  This type of website was designed to only present static information, with little or no interaction from users. Users today want new information, and interaction with the people behind the company brand.

Once this community is built, it is important to then direct people to take action.  This typically means entering into your sales funnel, but can also be attending an event, making a donation, downloading more information or becoming a volunteer.

Social Media and Search Engine Optimization

An added benefit to using Social Media is an increase in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). External links to your website have always been important.  Rather than do traditional “link exchanges”, your organization can build links quickly and easily and be in control of what message and keywords you want associated with your brand.

How Social Media Works Can Help

We create “hub” websites or we can act as consultants with your web design firm to provide some valuable insight into how your new site can take advantage of the fast-paced changes occurring in the world of Social Media.

That’s right, we love working with other Web Designers!

We can also create content for your site launch or provide the on-going Social Media Virtual Assistance that your team will need to keep things up-to-date.
